Toners: Necessity or Unnecessary #BuryMeMondays

Are Toners Necessary or Unnecessary For You? #BuryMeMondays

I think most of us know to skip alcohol-based toners because they can be drying (Iā€™m looking at you Sea Breeze). However, toner is still one of those steps that some tend to take or leave when it comes to their skincare regimen. So where do you stand with toner? Have you found one that you love or do you find it unnecessary? If you have one that you love take a photo on Instagram and use the hashtag #BuryMeMondays.

P.S. I’m still sick. šŸ˜¦

  1. I used a Murad toner religiously when I still had a lot of acne, but my derm told me it was just drying me out. So I don’t use it and now I double the amount of moisturizer that I use day and night. And my face is clear now! So I’m gonna say unnecessary.

  2. I use several different toners. Witch Hazel is one. Tea Tree toner from The Body Shop is another. Vitamin E toner from The Body Shop is another. I’ve always used them. I’ve never not used toner, so I can’t really say if they’re unnecessary.

      1. I really love that store. I use their body butters, body oils, and facial products. When they have the Buy 3, Get 3 sale, I rack up. They also do $10 for $20 of merchandise deals on Groupon or Living Social.
